After being frustrated with the lack of construction professionalism and craftsmanship in the area, Lucas Bernard and Ricardo Riberio decided to start their own multi-faceted construction and home improvement company.
Since 2019, business partners Bernard and Ribeiro have worked together to build customers’ dream home remodels and additions through Deluxe Art Home Improvement — an all-around home improvement company that offers home construction, home remodeling, stone fabrication and more servicing the Grand Strand.
“It’s a completely different idea from a construction company,” Riberio said.
Bernard, CEO of Deluxe Art Home Improvement, works hands-on with clients from the very first consultation to the last day of construction. Riberio, lead engineer of Deluxe Art Home Improvement, offers over a decade of experience working in the construction business.
“Our main goal is to deliver to a customer something they’ve never had before,” Riberio said. “Our goal will always be that the customer needs to have an experience different from anybody else.”
Deluxe Art Home Improvement offers several different services to clients such as kitchen and bathroom renovations, interior and exterior painting, flooring, carpentry, stone fabrication and exterior additions like Carolina rooms, exterior decks and outdoor summer kitchens.
“We do alot of kitchen and alot of bathrooms,” Riberio said.
Because everything is manufactured in house, a client doesn’t need to seek multiple different contractors for their remodel when using Deluxe Art Home Improvement.
“We don’t like to give that feeling to the customer. We’ll finish it from the beginning to the end,” he said. “A homeowner deserves more attention.”
One thing that sets Deluxe Art Home Improvement apart from other remodeling or construction companies is that they are a company that can do the entire build or remodeling project from start to finish.
“The difference is that we’re a one-stop company,” he said.
Because of this, Deluxe Art Home Improvement is able to adjust the contract as they’re working if the client wants to add anything additional to the project.
They work with clients from their initial design consultations, ordering all the materials if they don’t have them in stock already, and building their addition or remodel. They are responsible to see the project through from the beginning phases to the final product. A potential client will meet at the office or showroom and they will be introduced to everything Deluxe Art Home Improvement has to offer. Once the client and team create and close the project contract, Deluxe Art Home Improvement will give the client a time frame for materials and construction. If a product is not currently in stock, the client will know exactly what time frame they can expect it to be available. Deluxe Art Home Improvement offers in-house materials and products including their own porcelain and a large variety of stone. They keep a plentiful stock of different stones like granite, quartz and marbles.
If there is something that a client wants that they have to order overseas they will be kept informed about timelines for deliveries and installation.
“You’re going to know 100% what’s going on,” Riberio said.
